ARTISTS' RECEPTION
AND AWARDS CEREMONY

THE JURY HAS SPOKEN…
The competition for this year's LACA
juried show was greater than ever before.
From amongst the 45 pieces submitted,
a collection of 37 juried works, created
by
21 LACA artists-members
—hailing from New Hampshire, Maine
& Massachusetts—have been selected
for inclusion in this year's competition,
and are now
on display at Pierce Law
through October 24, 2008.
Our panel of jurors has chosen their
three favorite pieces, and bestowed
three additional Honorable Mentions as well.
For now, these will remain a secret.
NOW YOU BE THE JUDGE…
As a visitor to the Law Center, you may
cast
a vote for your favorite piece—right
up until 7:15 PM the night of the reception—
for the coveted Viewers' Choice awards.
At 7:30, there will be an
awards presentation where the
top three Jurors' Choice,
Jurors' Honorable Mentions and
Viewers' Choice winners
will be announced.
Please join LACA for our
wine & cheese reception,
beginning at 5 PM, with
live music by Newmarket favorites
Peg Chaffee and Leif Gerjuoy.
