About LACA

Founded in late 2004, the Lamprey Arts & Culture Alliance (LACA) is an all-volunteer, member-supported, private, 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We make our home in the historic mill town of Newmarket, NH, nestled along the banks of the Lamprey River and Great Bay, in southern NH's beautiful seacoast region.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is simple: to support the arts, culture and heritage of Newmarket and its surrounding communities.

In fulfillment of this mission, each year we strive to host a variety of art- and culture-related programs, projects and events. If you, or someone you know, have an idea for such a project or event and you'd like for us to consider working with you, please contact us.

OUR VISION

Since its inception, LACA has been cultivating a cultural presence in Newmarket—developing a way in which to honor the arts, the citizens of Newmarket, and the heritage of their waterfront mills.

THE IMPORTANT ROLE
OF THE COMMUNITY

Through grants, donations, volunteers & fund-raising events, we are committed to developing a cultural program that brings all the arts—and the community—together. Your contributions will help to strengthen LACA's influence on the cultural unity of the seacoast area and enable LACA to bring a variety of cultural experiences to Newmarket.

In addition to making a donation in support of LACA, community members can also lend a hand by supporting our functions, volunteering their time or services, and helping to generate increased awareness of and support for our mission within the community.
